Auburn, Ala. - On April 10, 2024, Auburn Police arrested John Howard Jr., age 19, from Auburn, AL, on felony warrants charging him with unlawfully breaking and entering into a vehicle and theft of property second degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a call reporting an auto burglary on March 27, 2024. Officers met with a victim that stated their vehicle was parked near the 500 block of Webster Road from March 26 to March 27. During this time, someone unlawfully entered the vehicle and stole property.

John Howard Jr. was developed a suspect, and after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained. Auburn Police located Howard on April 10, and he was placed under arrest in obedience to the warrants.

Howard was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $6,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
